Okay, let’s be real for a sec…

This wasn’t supposed to be a podcast episode.

I was invited to speak at the Wealthy & Well-Known Summit hosted by Rory and AJ Vaden in Nashville—a closed-door, intimate gathering for 8-figure brand builders. And instead of giving a polished keynote (like I usually do), Rory asked if I’d be open to a raw, unfiltered, unglamorous convo on stage about what it really takes to build a brand, create consistent content, and keep going even when it looks like nothing is working.

I said yes. And then… I got on stage and said a lot.

Afterward, I questioned whether I had been too honest. Too open. Too off-the-cuff. But then I reminded myself of what I remind you every week: my brand is built to attract or repel. That’s it. And if I attracted you today, then pull up a seat—we ride at sunrise.

In this very personal Q&A, I open up about the two-year vacuum I lived in. The years when it looked like everything was great from the outside—shiny launches, smiling photos, viral content—but inside, I felt stuck. Forgotten. Uncertain.

In 2023, my word of the year was “rebirth.” In 2024? “Independence.” But y’all… nothing came easily.

This episode dives into what it looks like to iterate in the dark, to chase a vision that hasn’t yet manifested, and to keep showing up even when you’re not sure what you’re showing up for.

We talk about:

  • The silent battles founders face
  • What it means to build with integrity
  • Why I gave up control in my business to create more time for legacy work
  • How I know I’m resilient, even when I feel like I’m losing
  • The conversations I had with 25+ entrepreneurs that led to our newest offer (and why we’re so dang excited about it)

This episode isn’t about the highlight reel. It’s about what it looks like when you’re building in the shadows. Because real success? It’s not linear. It’s layered with setbacks, pivots, and quiet bravery.

And if you’re in the middle of a hard season, I hope you feel seen here. I hope this conversation is the reminder you needed: if you don’t quit, you can’t lose.

Let’s ride.

Have you ever told yourself, “That’s not possible”?

Yeah… me too.

But what if the only thing stopping you wasn’t your circumstances—but your beliefs?

Today on the podcast, I sat down with Dr. Alan Barnard, one of the world’s leading experts in Theory of Constraints and decision-making. (Oh, and he casually dropped wisdom that might just rock your worldview.)

Alan and I met in the most “Jasmine” way possible—at a Malibu mastermind where I was late (don’t judge!) and he stood up to let me pass to my seat. A conversation later, he was handing me a children’s book for my daughter, and I knew we were meant to connect.

Fast forward to now, and this episode will have you asking a question Alan poses at the top of our conversation:

“What’s limiting you right now?”

And more importantly…

“What if it’s just a belief that you can change?”

We dive deep into:

  • The difference between people who succeed and those who stay stuck
  • The ONE belief that’s keeping most entrepreneurs small
  • Why having “bad conditions” isn’t a valid excuse for bad results
  • A goosebump-worthy story about a group of coal miners who thought hitting their goal was impossible—until Alan helped them rewire what they believed was true

But don’t worry—it’s not all frameworks and theory. This episode is grounded in real-life transformation, practical questions you can ask yourself TODAY, and a whole lot of love for those of us who are in a season of feeling stuck or like the end is near.

If you’re navigating a crisis, feeling behind, or wondering if you can really catch up, this conversation is for you.

Dr. Barnard doesn’t just talk strategy—he meets people in the trenches of doubt, fear, and uncertainty and helps them find their next best move.

And friend, this episode is your next best move. 🎧

[06:36] How Dr. Barnard handled a crisis with coal miners who were certain their goal was impossible

Y’all, this episode? It’s the punch in the gut and the hug your soul needs—at the same time.

I sat down with my friend Lewis Howes, and we dove deep into a topic I know so many of us struggle with—feeling stuck.

Ever catch yourself saying things like “I’m dumb,” “I’m not enough,” or “I always mess this up”? Yeah, me too.

In this short episode, Lewis shares how those quiet (and not-so-quiet) conversations we have with ourselves shape our entire identity—and what it took for him to break free from a negative self-image that kept him playing small.

He talks about the literal contract he wrote with himself (yes, signed and framed!) to embody a new identity—and how it became his anchor on the hardest days.

This is for the doer who still feels like they’re not enough… for the leader who secretly wonders if they’re worthy… for the dreamer who needs to believe again.

So grab your journal, boo. You might just be ready to write your own contract after this.

I used to think making more money meant working more hours, harder hustle, and more burnout. Sound familiar?

If you’ve ever said to yourself, “I’ve tried all the things, invested in the courses, hired the coaches, but I still can’t seem to break through…” — friend, this episode is for YOU.

In this live-recorded masterclass, I’m sharing the exact three money beliefs that helped me go from struggling entrepreneur to building multiple 7- and 8-figure businesses. 💥

But this isn’t a “rah rah” mindset talk.

It’s a real, tactical, science-backed breakdown of the mental frameworks that allowed me to go from million dollar years to million dollar months — and how YOU can do it too.

You’ll hear:

  • Why the market is always right (and how to align your offers with what people truly desire)
  • The reason failure might be your biggest growth asset
  • And the three powerful agreements I made with myself that became the foundation for my success.

These are the same beliefs I return to again and again — whether I’m pivoting, launching, or feeling like I’m about to fall flat on my face.

In this episode, you’ll walk away with clarity, courage, and a new way to think about money, success, and what’s actually holding you back.

Let’s normalize failure.

If you’ve ever felt underqualified, overwhelmed, or like you’re not enough to go after your biggest dreams… this episode is for YOU.

This is a repurposed segment from a powerful conversation I had with the brilliant Sharon McMahon on her podcast, and when I listened back to it, I knew it needed its own spotlight.

In this conversation, we dive deep into the messy middle of entrepreneurship, self-doubt, and the mental gymnastics we do when we feel like imposters in our own success stories. 👀

I talk about how I spent most of my life stuck in a fixed mindset, always scanning rooms to see who was better, smarter, or more worthy than me. And let’s be real, that mental loop had me convinced that I needed to earn my place over and over again.

But what changed everything?

I realized that your cup is refillable. Even if there’s only a drop in it… that drop is proof you can fill it again. Whether you’re feeling half-empty or bone dry, your ability to change your perspective will change your results.

Sharon and I get personal. I open up about my own struggles growing up, how failure has become my best teacher, and why trying to always be the smartest in the room is a surefire way to never grow.

You’ll hear us chat about:

  • Why “not being ready” is a myth
  • How to reframe failure as a win
  • The danger of labeling yourself (like “awkward” or “not good at small talk”)
  • Why being present is more powerful than being perfect
  • How 98% of your daily thoughts are negative—and how to flip that stat on its head

Sis, this isn’t just theory. These are mindset shifts that I had to learn the hard way—because I was tired of watching other people succeed and wondering why I felt stuck.

So if you’ve ever thought, “Who am I to start this business, launch this offer, show up online?”… I want to flip that question:

Who are you not to?

You are not your past. You are not your fear. And you are certainly not someone who needs to “qualify” for their own dreams.

I hope this shortie episode is the permission slip you’ve been waiting for to step boldly into your next chapter—messy middle and all.

Let’s rewrite your story together. ✨

[03:09] How shifting from a fixed mindset to a growth mindset unlocks new levels in life and business.

[04:35] Discover the shocking statistic about daily negative thoughts—and why awareness is the first step to change.

If you’ve ever hit a wall in your business—the kind that success can’t hide and hustle can’t fix—this episode is for you.

I recorded this after taking an impromptu trip to a remote island in Hawaii, completely unplugged from social media, with nothing but a journal and an old-school pen. (Yes, your girl went full analog.)

Why? Because I knew before I could grow my next business, I had to grow me.

In this episode, I’m pulling back the curtain on the behind-the-scenes of what it really means to operationalize a business, what happens when you step out of your role… and the fear, frustration, and yes—freedom—that comes with not knowing what’s next.

Over the past two years, life felt like a “slugfest”—a nonstop face-slapping competition (which, yes, is a real thing and no, I don’t recommend watching it… but also yes, I totally watched it because it felt like a metaphor for my life).

Despite continued outward success, I felt lost. I operationalized Social Curator, placed a President at the helm, and for the first time in my career, I didn’t immediately know what came next.

That hit hard.

I had always believed the next thing would show up right when I needed it. That messy action would always spark momentum. That if I just kept going, the next big idea would come.

But instead, I got silence. For months.

So I had to confront the hard question:

What if I’ve built the thing… and now I don’t know what I want next?

I share the raw reality of chasing “rebirth” in 2023—and how it didn’t arrive on my timeline. I open up about the tension between building something that runs without you… and wondering if you’re still needed at all.

And I talk about what I’m learning in the in-between:

  • The difference between burnout and boredom
  • Why clarity doesn’t always come from action
  • And how I’m learning to be in the waiting without losing my drive

If you’re a builder who doesn’t know what to build next…

If you’ve hit milestones but feel stuck in the aftermath…

If you’re questioning your identity outside your business…

You’re not alone.

Let’s talk about the hard stuff. The real stuff. The stuff we don’t post on Instagram—but that builds the backbone of who we become.

Because friend… if you don’t quit, you can’t lose.

So you’ve been listening to business podcasts, watching YouTube tutorials, and double-tapping all the inspirational Instagram quotes that scream: start your business already!

But you still haven’t done the thing.

Sound familiar?

Friend, this episode is your gentle (and slightly spicy) wake-up call to JUST. START.

A few months ago, I had the most unexpected coaching moment in the TSA line at Phoenix Airport. Amy Porterfield and I were traveling to Newport Beach when a woman named Diana recognized us. As we chatted, Diana shared something I hear all the time—she wants to start a beauty business, has watched all the videos, and has big dreams… but hasn’t taken the first step.

Can you relate?

That conversation with Diana hit me hard because it reminded me: the hardest part is usually the start.

Whether you’re starting at 60 or 30, in May or on a random Tuesday, from your living room or your 9-5 cubicle—there’s one universal truth: it’s gonna be messy. It’s gonna feel uncertain. It’s gonna feel like you’re not ready.

But guess what?

The only way to get to Step 212 is by taking Step 1.

In this episode, I break down:

  • The hidden mental traps that keep us from starting
  • What real proof of concept looks like (spoiler: it’s NOT a pitch deck)
  • Why your idea matters—and why the market needs it
  • How I’ve learned to fall in love with the scrappy start (again and again)

And yes, I share the exact words I told Diana standing in that TSA line.

So whether you’ve got a product idea, a service, or just a gut feeling that you’re meant for more, this episode is here to light a fire under your dreams.

You’re not too late.

You’re not too inexperienced.

You’re not too messy.

You’re just one bold “start” away from everything you want.

Let’s do this together. 💪

[00:56] The moment I met Diana in the TSA line and how she sparked this episode

[02:57] Diana’s idea and what she asked me about funding (and what I told her instead)

[03:58] The ONE piece of advice I give to every dreamer: Just start

[04:51] How starting creates clarity—and what most people get wrong about this process

[06:00] The true meaning of “proof of concept” (and how YOU can prove yours)

Let’s get real, friend: have you ever caught yourself spiraling down a rabbit hole of “what ifs,” negative self-talk, or the kind of inner dialogue that makes you feel like the world’s worst CEO?

Yeah… me too.

But in this episode of The Jasmine Star Show, I’m unpacking how to stop the spiral and start steering your thoughts in the direction of success, growth, and peace of mind—because if your thoughts are powerful enough to tear you down, they’re powerful enough to build you back up, too.

This episode was inspired by two books that absolutely rocked my world:

  • 📖 The Untethered Soul by Michael Singer (hello, 4.7 stars on Amazon!)
  • 📘 Chatter: The Voice in Our Head, Why It Matters, and How to Harness It by Ethan Kross

But instead of just recapping what these authors say, I’m sharing the real, raw way I’ve lived this work—through entrepreneurship, failure, burnout, and personal growth.

Here’s what you’ll hear:

✨ Why rumination and worry feel “normal” for entrepreneurs—and how they secretly hold you back

✨ How my inner critic disguised itself as a drill sergeant—and nearly drove me to burnout

✨ The four roles your inner voice plays in your life (according to Dr. Ethan Kross)

✨ Why reframing your inner voice into an inner coach could change everything

And here’s the truth: I used to think my inner critic was helping me succeed. I thought it made me stronger, faster, better.

Spoiler alert: it just made me tired, anxious, and scared to take risks.

I share how I finally decided to “divorce” my inner critic—and how I shifted into becoming a detective for success instead.

Because when you reframe the voice in your head, you stop asking “what if it goes wrong?” and start asking “what can I learn to go further?”

This episode is part pep talk, part psychology, and full-on strategy for anyone ready to rewire their mindset and show up as the empowered, resilient leader your business needs you to be.

Let’s tune out the negative noise, and tune into something far more powerful.

Have you ever walked into a room and realized… you’re the only one?

The only woman.

The only parent.

The only person of color.

The only voice of your kind.

In this episode, I share what it’s really like to be the “only”—and how I’ve learned to turn that discomfort into a source of power.

I open up about an experience where I was the only female at a high-level mastermind retreat, how I handled the uncomfortable moments (like not being allowed to check in to a hotel with my daughter 😳), and what it truly means to show up fully, even when others misunderstand or criticize your path.

You’ll hear:

✨ How I reframed being “the only one” from weakness to strength

💬 A shocking direct message I received—and how I chose to respond with grace

🌵 3 life lessons I learned from a desert cactus (yes, really)

💡 A step-by-step framework to create your own peer-led mastermind, no $50K required

🔥 The importance of scrappy action—and how YOU can build your own room if you’re not getting invited into one

Plus, I share an incredibly practical story of how my friend Stacy pulled together a high-level group of entrepreneurs to host a mastermind with Layla Hermozi—without needing a massive budget or big brand clout.

This episode is for anyone who’s ever felt like an outsider… and is ready to own it as their edge.

Let’s stop waiting to be invited. Let’s build the rooms we want to walk into.
