I think it is easy to feel lost and purposeless when we work for ourselves, we are responsible for our own drive and direction and can very easily stray or get lost with so much noise around us – especially with the way social media has infiltrated our lives. A good reminder to get outside and to accept this happens to us all from time to time.

The Strengths Finder 2.0 is also a very useful and informative test. It talks about the balconies and basements of each strength as well, and there are awesome workshops on it, so you can really get to know how how each strength manifests when you’re at your best (balcony) as well as at your worst (the basement). As they say, a strength can also be a weakness, and that’s the premise. To know yourself is to learn, and to improve, and to gain understanding, and hopefully someday be wise and have insight.
